Wow this is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time , gives a lovely soft light , looks expensive with the complimentary shade and lovely wood base , it is very well made , not too tall makes a great bedside lamp as well as an office light as it comes with the bonus of charging your phone or tablet while you sleep , on/off switch for light on the base , so no wires showing , I’m over the moon . So much so I’ve ordered another one 👍

An elegant bedside light with a couple of USB charger ports in the wooden plinth. Other than inverting the shade, no assembly is required. The shade is linen and ensures a gentle, warm and well distributed light - but beware, no bulb is supplied. The light fitting is type E27 (EU screw) - I opted for a Tapo "smart" dimmable LED 9w (60w equivalent) bulb. It was straightforward to link the bulb to our Alexa setup - so the lamp is now effectively "smart" and we can control the light power (on/off) and brightness via Alexa - while the USB charging ports remain independent - just what I wanted. Very good value, elegant and with quick next day Prime delivery. We have no complaints 😊 ☺️ 😄

The lamp works well and looks good, the shade is well made and provides a good glow. Bear in mind that no bulb is included so you will need to purchase one separately - I fitted a 'Warm White 2700K E27 Edison Screw 60W bulb' which was bright enough for reading and a soft warm colour through the shade - you might want a 40w (or LED equivalent) for softer lighting if not using the lamp to read. The one problem with it really is the switch location- the switch is offset far to the left side at the back of the lamp - so if you have it on a table to the left of your bed rather than the right then the switch is inaccessible and blocked from your reach by the lampshade, the stem and any phones or other items in the 'storage' slots - bear this in mind, the switch is only easily accessible when lamp is placed on tables on the right hand side of the bed.

EDIT: Originally, I had issues with the lamp (see below), but I've had to change from 1 * to 5* after the seller sent a new one, even though it was outside of the return period. This one works perfectly. The light looks stylish and the USB works well. OLD REVIEW: Didn’t work out of the box. Due to being an extremely busy period at work I forgot to send it back, and missed the deadline. Lessons learned! I’ll probably pay a bit extra and buy from someplace else.

Very nice well built lamp. It works perfectly in a guest bedroom, not too bright but enough light for the whole room,charges phones and tablets no problem. An excellent buy. Also a very nice shape, a change from the normal round shades.

Concept is a great idea nice looking lamp and place to put one’s cell BUT soon as I plugged my lead in my cell was overriding doing it’s own thing and going off any app I was in and changing like someone was controlling it. Soon as I unplugged it it stopped. Got one of the kids to plug theirs in and the same thing , wouldn’t let us use touch button had to put in our passwords etc, really odd! Kinda gives the feeling someone’s able to get into your cell like there’s some chip inside the actual stand … eerie…
