Wow this is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time , gives a lovely soft light , looks expensive with the complimentary shade and lovely wood base , it is very well made , not too tall makes a great bedside lamp as well as an office light as it comes with the bonus of charging your phone or tablet while you sleep , on/off switch for light on the base , so no wires showing , I’m over the moon . The lamp works well and looks good, the shade is well made and provides a good glow. Bear in mind that no bulb is included so you will need to purchase one separately - I fitted a 'Warm White 2700K E27 Edison Screw 60W bulb' which was bright enough for reading and a soft warm colour through the shade - you might want a 40w (or LED equivalent) for softer lighting if not using the lamp to read. The one problem with it really is the switch location- the switch is offset far to the left side at the back of the lamp - so if you have it on a table to the left of your bed rather than the right then the switch is inaccessible and blocked from your reach by the lampshade, the stem and any phones or other items in the 'storage' slots - bear this in mind, the switch is only easily accessible when lamp is placed on tables on the right hand side of the bed.

An elegant bedside light with a couple of USB charger ports in the wooden plinth. Other than inverting the shade, no assembly is required. The shade is linen and ensures a gentle, warm and well distributed light - but beware, no bulb is supplied. The light fitting is E27 (Edison screw) - I opted for a Tapo "smart" dimmable LED 9w (60w equivalent) bulb. It was straightforward to link the bulb to our Alexa setup - so the lamp is now effectively "smart" and we can control the light power (on/off) and brightness via Alexa - while the USB charging ports remain independent - just what I wanted. Very good value, elegant and with quick next day Prime delivery. We have no complaints 😊 ☺️ 😄 NOTE - The USB ports have a maximum (combined) output of 3A. They will automatically shut down if this load is exceeded.

Not great as bedside lamps. For single bed yes great but as double no the lead is drilled in to the side of the unit so if you want one for right hand side of your bed it faces the wrong way. Not practical
