We picked up this Lepro O1 lamp to use in our dining room (which pretty doubles as my partner's sewing room at this point). We already had a giant gooseneck lamp in there which to be frank was an eyesore. The simple clean lines of this one were a welcome change. It gives good light coverage considering it's not spotlighted and there are a good range of options with this too. It has to be noted that this is all through an app. As much as I appreciate the utility on offer here I personally would have liked a manual remote to fall back on. It only takes the app to be delisted from the store and your lamp becomes a paperweight! But anyway - the range of lighting effects is incredible and in some cases downright silly! It's also got music listening mode - but that involves your phone actually doing the listening. The most impressive part for me was the Alexa integration. We were quite late to the party with this - but armed with an Echo Dot from about 6 years ago, we have quite a few gadgets that are now linked to this. "Alexa - turn lamp on" "Alexa - set lamp to warm and 50% brightness" "Alexa - turn dining room off" (we have other devices there too) All really quite neat. While £149 isn't an obscene price for a standard lamp (unfortunately) - the upper third of this lamp feels quite plasticky and lets it down a little. It's this that knocks off a star for value really. All-in-all though very happy with this thanks to its effectiveness.

I'm in two minds about this floor lamp, and it has both plus and minus points. Yes, it's fun playing around with the colours and all that, and I can create different moods with it, which has attractions. The flashing effects are too garish for me, and not very relaxing, but if you hold a lot of parties the music sync feature could be a bonus, to liven up the mood. Alexa integration is useful too. Ultimately though, I found that after the initial excitement, the novelty of coloured effects wore off on me a bit. The lamp is a good height yet it takes up minimal space and casts a good light around my room. The base is solid and heavy, and together with the metal pole keeps the lamp stable, though on the minus side the shade looks a little plasticky, which is what it is, basically. The current selling price is £150, which I think is surprisingly high - about double what I'd expect, if I'm honest. My main concern is product longevity, and as I write this review I'm using a desk lamp inherited from my late father, which he purchased in 1965 and is still going strong, fitted with a new LED bulb. Will this floor lamp be usable in 60 years time? I highly doubt it. Control is via a free smartphone app, but as I've discovered with other gadgets, sellers come and go, apps vanish or become inoperable with the latest Android/iOS release, and items over 5 years old are regularly left unsupported and become utterly useless. On balance, I think that if I was going to purchase a lamp for north of a hundred quid, I would at least want it to come with manual controls, or a hand held remote. Otherwise, the risk of it becoming scrap in a short number of years is too great, for my liking.

The media could not be loaded. Lamp looks stylish. All while base with a large led based light. The full hight on the lamp is about 152cm. The led lamp part is about 35cm. Setup is very easy using the Lepro app (it only takes a few minutes). Adding to Alexa is also very straight forward. The light can be set to white only, from very dimmed to very bright. Or colours can be defined. Patterns can also be set which e.g. can be set to equalizer mode to follow sound (good for parties I guess). The lamp can also be set up to swith on and off automatically at certain times, or simply be switched off via voice control (via Alexa). All in all an impressive lamp which is easy to set up and with lots of settings, colours and wide brightness levels.

First impressions are very positive, assembly was simple and easy, once assembled the light looks great. Setting up was also a straightforward experience but you have to user their own app, its a shame you can't use a generic app like Tuya, which I use to control the majority of my smart devices. As for the app, its quite simple to use but has limited functionality and to be honest I was expecting quite a lot more, given the price of this device.

This wasn't for me but having put it together and had a play with it, I was really impressed. So many things to do with it! Everything I tried with it, came out looking pretty impressive. After 20 mins, I had to drag myself away onto something else! As a light, it's great. As an entertainment, it's great too. A solid enough light that does what it says it does apart from it's not using AI - that's just a bit of marketing to hook into the latest craze. This sounds like a 5 star product? It is - but only for a short amount of time. At the time of writing, this is circa £150 and for that it's going to need some longevity which I don't think it can justify. I would have been bored of it pretty soon had I not have had to give it to my teenage niece. A quick check-in with her and it's the same story - played with it for a day and now hardly uses it's features. That's crushing really. So, it's a good product but you're really going to need to use it to justify the price.
