Having been dissuaded from buying a chic design-led lamp by the number of 'form-over-function' reviews, I'm SO glad I came across this one. It wouldn't have been my first choice for bedroom because its linear, angular looks are, in my view, more suited to the desk than the bedside. HOWEVER, that's just my taste- it's a neat, streamlined design but, more importantly, it has a brilliant spec and is well made and sturdy. No assembly - just unbox from well-protective packaging and plug in (standard 3-pin UK plug.) The base means it stands firm with no chance of being accidentally knocked over and the arm can be set at any angle...and it stays. There are three light 'warmth'/colour options, each of which can be dimmed. By closing the arm so it's almost parallel to the upright stand you can dim the light even more. All my bedtime reading is done on my Kindle, so I don't need it as a reading light, but it seems to be perfect for that purpose; you may just need to experiment on warmth/dimness/angle to find the best settings for you. There is an optional night light on the base, which is too big & bright for me...but there is also a much smaller, much dimmer 'power on' light which I find useful in the middle of the night (& I know other reviewers love the nightlight - so horses for courses.). A genius option is the sleep timer that allows you to set the light to automatically switch off after 60 minutes. If you want a sturdy, supremely functional, clean-lined lamp I HIGHLY recommend this one. THIS JUST WORKS! Love it

Having initially bought one of these as a bedside lamp, I have since purchased another two; one for my home workstation, and one in the kitchen. They really are great value for money, very bright when full on, and the multi-mode and dimming features are kind to the eyes. The USB port on the rear is an added plus. I'm now actually considering buying one as a gift for someone. I can't fault it, but do have a suggestion for the manufacturers; perhaps a version with holes in the base for wall-mounting?

Brilliant design, beautifully made with a lovely finish, this lamp is exactly as advertised, arrived in good time and as I use it as a bedside lamp has ample brightness, the colour change feature is inspired as I am aware not everyone likes the old fashioned yellow light that I do, but a touch of the button gives you white/blue which many prefer. I like the foldaway design which saves space when required. The only extra I would like is the possibility of switching off the pilot light, tiny as it is.

I got this lamp three weeks ago and have been using it every night. The brightness can be controlled using the slider and I found it perfect to control the intensity. One very cool feature is that there is a very small orange light button which has a moon symbol on it. This can be seen in total darkness and when pressed it switches on a small light enough for you to walk around the room without piercing your eyes. I really love that feature. My only advice would be that it is a sturdy lamp as it is slightly bigger then normal lamps, so please keep that in mind. Overall its very flexible and I like the features. I have not tested out usb port yet but as advertised its 1 amp charger so probably will take longer to charge phones with big battery but good to have it as backup.

I can't praise these lamps highly enough. I bought them as bedside lamps, I like a bright light so these fit the bill but also like the fact I can dim them. The charging port is very handy I don't have to keep reaching down to the floor for the socket. I ended up buying 3 as my son called in and pinched one. I really like the timer button too as I often fall asleep reading, I'd I'm still reading then I just reset it. Very fast delivery and excellent value for money.

I was genuinely impressed with this desk lamp. The base has a good weight to it so it is sturdy and the crane like design makes it versatile. The lamp has 4 dimmer settings and the brightest setting is very bright… I tend to use it on the minimum setting. You can also adjust the colour tone of the light. The touch controls are very responsive. Definitely recommend.

Attention, prise US ! Et la qualité du plastique laisse à désirer (j'avoue avoir été déçu en l'ouvrant). C'est une sorte de plastique un peu mou qu'on voit généralement sur les trucs bas de gamme.
