This was bought as a gift ,I was very disappointed to have my gift returned. The recipient was unable to access any of the features except the light. My son tried to set it up but again only the light worked. Too late to return?

I purchased this after hours of debating which one to buy as there’s so many of the looking exactly the same. It has it’s good and bad uses / points, I’ll start with the negatives. In the advert it say it has app control & I double checked several times after I purchased it and I wasn’t wrong it definitely claimed to but it doesn’t. The instructions are extremely vague. The phone charger isn’t reliable unless placed directly on a particular spot on the charging surface. The device I received one of the buttons was flimsy and the icons on each button are too hard to figure & the instructions weren’t much help but after a finding my magnifying glass with light I could just about see what each button apparently was meant to do. No remote control. When you turn on the device the Bluetooth automatically connects to your phone & answers it At first I had no idea where certain voices / clicks / music was coming so if you don’t want to be disturbed, ok to be blunt, if you’re watching dirty movies on your phone unpair from mood lamp if you want to remain innocent 😇 The positives. The colours are really beautiful and you can choose from about 7 different combinations, the blending of the colours is really lovely and can be very relaxing. Bluetooth 5 which is the latest version and pairs with all my various headphones easily enough. & stays connected throughout my flat unlike Bluetooth 4!. It has Radio which I haven’t figured out yet. There’s a slot for a micro SD card which I’m sure is compatible with as much as 256gb memory or much higher capacity so you can fill tons of your favourite music, slot it easily into the back & just press the play button. The speaker goes fairly loud and doesn’t seem to distort from the couple of times I’ve used it but I only tend to use it for the mood lamp side of it as it’s probably the best thing about it!. I am going to use the SD memory card feature as I find that very handy. Oh I must add that it is wireless and very portable and once fully charged it lasts about 12 hours plus depending on how you’re using it. I know I’ve given a mixed review but this was down to two things: not being app control like the advert claimed and the lack of information in the instructions. Once figured out by trail and error and randomly pressing buttons while squinting through your eyeglass you should be able to figure out what it does but one it’s the cheapest one out there I’ve checked and none of the other have an SD card slot and who needs app control anyway, you’ll only drop your phone in your cup of tea while trying to control one that does have app control… You did what? Threw you phone at the mood lamp and broke them both!! Well you shouldn’t have paid all that money. BUY THIS ON,E, THEY’RE ALL THE SAME BUT THIS COSTS MUCH LESS. 😂 😂 😂

This was bought as a Christmas present each for my grandsons. They quickly worked out how to connect their phones to it to play their music. The sound quality is really impressive. Two happy boys :)

The unit looks nice when it is unpacked, the Instructions when deciphered give enough to understand what the buttons do, but it unfortunately isn't detailed or particularly clear. I also found the lighting display wasn't as shown on the description and the Wireless charging just didn't happen on my Samsung S22 for some reason. I have returned the item as it is a lot of money for an ornament.
