Bought this light for a TV room I'm setting up. Easy to fit, comes supplied with connectors for the wires, so that's useful and makes things less fiddly. Once up and switched on the Govee Home app found it and setup was easy. As with many other smart lights you can set it to whatever colour you want, control brightness, and so on. There are some nice presets that are fun to play with and are animated, but the reality is that we typically set it to a 'static' setting and leave it at that. A nice feature is that some of the settings illuminate the main light, whereas others illuminate lights that shine up onto the ceiling - gives a nice effect. I would say that this is a pretty bright light. At 100% brightness it's too bright for the room its in so I've never really set it to more than 40%, so it would probably be good for a larger room as well. All in all, simple, good fun.

Delivered in it own (but good quality) packaging and well padded. The light itself is easy to fit to existing wiring and screws into the baseplate easily. Functionally there is no end of ways of playing with the light in the Govee app however for me the pairing to my Echo was simple and it is easy to control by voice so rarely use the app. Good brightness and lovely array of colours and modes though don’t think I’ll ever use the flashing or music linked settings.

The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these for my hallway, to run with a motion sensor and Alexa. Just for a laugh. The unit itself is well packaged and of a reasonable quality. Once it's on the ceiling, it look just fine. The initial installation of the backplate was easy enough, utilising the original ceiling rose screw fixings. The electrical side is OK with handy terminals that do not require any screwdrivers. However, the gap between the fixing g plate and the light is very tight, which made trying to locate one to the other quite challenging. There is no tether either, so you have to constantly hold it up, which is fine if it "just fits" but less so if you struggle. I ended up making a larger hole in my ceiling and pushing all the cables and connectors up into the ceiling space. The set up with Alexa was pretty simple although I couldn't get the Matter to connect, so I control them via the Govee App. Overall I like them. They can be fantastically bright but have limitless possibilities via the Govee App.

Brilliant light. Far cheaper than Aqara alternative, and much easier to install. Just secure the mount with screws, connect wires via waygo connectors, and rotate light to lock in place. Could not be simpler. It's not at all heavy, so easy to install. Light is good and consistent. Lighting options are fun and varied. Well worth it just for a good ceiling light, but the animated modes on top are great. One note: You can't have a colour edge AND white light, it's either or. But you can have a dimmer colour centre with animated edge.

These are great, much bigger than a thought. Easy to put up (two wires and it came with 2 wago connectors) much cheaper than Philips Hue. Can get it to work through Alexa or ITTT to cooperate with my hue motion sensors. The colours are great the options are great it’s just a good light. I think I’ll try govee again and see if I migrate from hue to these

Das Design ist modern, schlank und passt perfekt in jedes Zimmer. Das Beste ist natürlich die App-Steuerung: Farben, Helligkeit, Timer, Szenen – alles lässt sich intuitiv einstellen. Besonders cool finde ich die Musik-Synchronisation, die das Licht passend zum Sound anpasst – ideal für entspannte Abende oder kleine Partys. Auch die Weißtöne (warm bis kalt) lassen sich präzise regeln – so ist von konzentriertem Arbeiten bis zur gemütlichen Stimmung auf der Couch alles möglich. Die Lampe ist richtig hell, aber auch dimmbar – sehr flexibel also.
