I bought this lamp to replace one that is deciding its self when it comes on. Well its seems ok, but I thought when I plugged in and switched the inline switch to on that it would light up but it doesn't I turn it on but then I have to touch it for it to come on, think its waste of having inline switch if you have to touch anyway to turn it on. It's nice and stylish though.

The media could not be loaded. The lamp stand arrives packed inside of the linen shade and it is quite a struggle to remove it without damaging the shade. After removing the stand, I discovered that the power lead was secured tightly against the chrome pole with a cable tie, so I had to be very careful not to scratch the pole when using a small pair of scissors to cut away the cable tie. It was a relief to have managed to separate everything without causing any damage. The supplied user manual clearly explains how to attach the bulb and shade to the lamp, which I found helpful. The power lead is a good long length with a UK 3-pin plug attached and a power on/off switch. There are a handy couple of ports on the front of the wood base that can be used for charging USB devices. You can select one of three brightness levels by tapping the wood base. I don’t think that any of the levels are particularly bright, but it is powerful enough to use as a bedside lamp or to produce some gentle ambient lighting in the living room. The neutral colour of the shade and stand means that this lamp will look great whatever the décor in your room.

La lampe peut être utilisée grâce à une charge ou branchée sur secteur. Il y a un port USB-C sur la base, mais pas de câble de charge fourni. Le câble secteur ne peut pas être enlevé de la lampe, même si elle est utilisée sur batterie. L'interrupteur est sur le câble d'alimentation secteur. Théoriquement, il est possible de contrôler le niveau de luminosité en touchant la base. J'ai monté la lampe, je l'ai branchée, et elle ne s'allume pas. J'ai vérifié l'ampoule sur une autre lampe, l'ampoule fonctionne, j'ai essayé une autre ampoule sur le socle de la lampe, la lampe ne fonctionne toujours pas. Je pense qu'il y a un mauvais contact au niveau de la vis de l'ampoule. Donc, inutilisable.
